Season of Thankfulness | SJWC&T Event
Thankful Hearts, Healthier Lives
Celebrating the Season of Thankfulness
As we move into the holiday season, there is something meaningful about taking time to slow down, gather together, and appreciate the good that is already present in our lives.
Join Saint Johns Women’s Counseling & Therapy for Thankful Hearts, Healthier Lives, an afternoon of creativity, conversation, and connection centered around the practice of gratitude.
We’ll gather at The Hot Spot to paint your choice of a Christmas-themed cup or candy cane while enjoying light refreshments and conversation with other women. Along the way, we’ll make a little room to reflect on thankfulness—not as an expectation to overlook the difficult parts of life, but as an opportunity to intentionally recognize the people, moments, blessings, and experiences that continue to bring goodness into our lives.
As we explored in this month’s Thankful Hearts, Healthier Lives conversation, gratitude is more than a seasonal sentiment. Practiced intentionally, it can help us slow down, shift our attention, strengthen connection, and develop a more balanced perspective on the lives we are living.
This gathering is simply an opportunity to practice a little of that together.
No artistic experience is needed. Come as you are, choose what you’d like to paint, enjoy the process, and spend an afternoon creating something festive while celebrating the season of thankfulness.
This gathering is for women who would enjoy:
A relaxed afternoon of creativity and conversation
Connecting with other women in the community
Taking intentional time to reflect on gratitude
Creating something festive to enjoy during the Christmas season
Slowing down before the busyness of the holidays begins
